Jesse Timmermans

Jesse Timmermans has a diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience. Jesse'smost recent role is as a Design Lead at VanMoof. Prior to that, they worked at The Valley as a Lead UX, where they focused on building brand experiences and communication. Jesse also has experience as a Senior Interaction Designer at Garage, where they contributed to the growth and development of the company. Jesse also worked as an Interaction Designer at Fabrique [merken, design & interactie], where they developed innovative interactions for brands and users. Earlier in their career, Jesse worked as a Freelance Designer at Filmtheater De Uitkijk, where they designed various promotional materials and campaigns. Jesse also had roles as a Graduate and a Student Assistant at Fabrique [merken, design & interactie] and TU Delft, respectively. Jesse has interned at Unilever in their Disruptive Design Studio and worked on an interactive system design project at Oce, focusing on optimizing the user experience of printing.

Jesse Timmermans completed their education from the Gymnasium Felisenum, Velsen-Zuid from 2001 to 2007. Jesse obtained a Gymnasium degree with a focus on Science, Economy, Nature, and Technology. Following that, Jesse attended Delft University of Technology from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Design Engineering. Continuing their education at the same university, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Design for Interaction from 2012 to 2014.
