Robert Petit

Robert Petit has over 17 years of work experience in the field of telecommunications. Robert started their career at Discovery Communications in 2003, where they served as an IT Telecommunications Administrator/Telecommunications Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for managing the AVAYA telecommunications systems and providing end user support for multiple Discovery offices in the Americas. Robert also handled the provisioning of phones and mobile devices and troubleshooted any issues. Robert worked at Discovery Communications for 13 years, until 2016. In 2016, they joined VanRan Communications Services, Inc. as an Avaya Voice Engineer.

Robert Petit completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, starting in 1980 and graduating in 1986. Robert has also obtained several certifications, including ACIS - Avaya Aura Core Components, ACSS - Avaya Aura Core Components, ACSS-Avaya Meeting Server, ACIS Avaya Equinox Solution with Avaya Aura Collaboration Application, SSCA@Sip Training, ACSS Avaya Equinox Solutions with Avaya Aura Collaboration Application, and ACSS Avaya Scopia Solution. These certifications were obtained between the years 2016 and 2021 from institutions such as Avaya and The SIP School.
