Andy Almonte

Andy Almonte is a Senior Engineering Manager at Vanta, leading the AI Platform team since August 2025. Previously, Almonte held the role of Senior Engineering Manager at Block from November 2021 to August 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the Product AI team that developed machine learning and AI solutions for Square, CashApp, and Afterpay. Prior to Block, Almonte worked at Bloomberg LP from July 2014 to October 2021, serving as a Team Lead for multiple AI initiatives, including AI Signal Extraction, AI Market Analytics, and AIM Shared Services & Audit, focusing on integrating machine learning into trading solutions and developing APIs for trading data. Almonte holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
