Derek Coatney

Derek Coatney is a Senior Director of Product Management at Vanta, bringing over a decade of experience from Google, where they held various product management roles. They led successful initiatives in monetization and consumer experiences that impacted over $1 billion in advertising revenue and 100 million users. Beginning their career in operations at Google in 2007, they later contributed as a Senior Product Manager for Shopping, Travel, and Search Ads, driving significant product developments and mentorship efforts. In addition to their professional achievements, they served as a board member for Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and hold a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
