Samit Saha

Samit Saha has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Samit began their career as an Auditor at M/s. INDRANEEL & CO, where they conducted audits and finalized accounts for various organizations. Samit then worked as an Accountant at SAI KARUNA DHAM CHARITABLE & SPIRITUAL TRUST.

In 2008, Samit joined Genpact as a Management Trainee/Process Developer. Here, they focused on reconciliation and review of accounts, set up intercompany processes, and supported Oracle migration for GE Capital Germany. Samit later became an Assistant Manager at GENPACT/GE Capital-Germany & BNL, where they handled US GAAP reporting and accounting, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.

Samit's next role was at GE Capital as a Reporting Lead. Samit led SEC Reporting & Consolidation, FED Reporting, and monthly/quarterly/yearly closing and reporting processes. Samit also managed business disposition accounting.

At Targo Commercial Finance, Samit served as a Reporting Lead, handling IFRS reporting and accounting, monthly/quarterly/yearly closing, FP&A activities, and intercompany accounting.

Samit then joined Opel Vauxhall Finance as a Senior Financial Analyst. Here, they prepared monthly and quarterly reporting packages under IFRS, streamlined finance tasks, led a liquidation accounting project, and implemented reconciliations between SAP and reporting systems.

Most recently, Samit worked at creditshelf Aktiengesellschaft as a Senior Accountant/Controller. Samit'sresponsibilities included preparing reporting packages under IFRS, accounting and reporting for creditshelf AG, financial planning and budgeting, reviewing balance sheets and profit and loss statements, and implementing cost center controls.

Since 2021, Samit has been serving as a Finance Service Lead at Vantage Towers. Overall, their experience includes financial reporting, accounting, planning, and control tasks in multinational organizations.

Samit Saha earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from Tripura University, Agartala, from 2001 to 2004. In addition, Samit Saha has obtained certifications in Six Sigma Foundations and Transitioning from Individual Contributor to Manager from LinkedIn in 2018.
