Jake Amir has over 40 years of work experience in the Information Technology (IT) field. Jake started their career in 1974 as a member of the Special Engineering Unit in the Israel Defense Forces. In 1984, they began working as a software developer and IT consultant for a number of IT consulting companies in various roles. In 1989, they founded and became President of Data Management Consultants, Inc., providing custom application development and IT services. In 1999, they became the Vice President of Modis, successfully managing the St. Louis operations and a number of national accounts. In 2011, they became the Director of the Missouri Kansas Search & Staffing Association, a non-profit organization providing resources for businesses and individuals seeking search and staffing providers. In 2014, they took on the role of CIO at XCellCure. Finally, from 2007 to 2014, they were Vice President of Strategic Relations at VantageLinks, an IT staffing and project solutions company.
Jake Amir attended the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and MIS.
