Thomas Duignan

Thomas Duignan is an experienced software engineer specializing in AI-accelerated drug discovery and materials research. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at VantAI since August 2022, Thomas focuses on a protein-first approach to PROTAC and glue design, previously holding titles including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientific Software Engineer at Mat3ra.com, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Glean Analytics. Thomas also worked as a Data Science Engineer at Broadridge and contributed to research as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where Thomas earned a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry.
