Joseph Ott

Joseph Ott has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies starting from 1992. Joseph worked as an Engineer at AriTech and Voice Technologies Group, where they developed DSP solutions for telecommunication needs. In 2000, they joined Intel as an Engineer and designed applications for IP Gateway products. Joseph then worked at Dialogic as a Senior SW Engineer and was responsible for application development with Dialogic's Host Media Processing (HMP). In 2012, they joined Imagination Software Corporation as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on creating the next generation of 3D images using existing x-ray technology. Joseph also worked as a Software Engineering Contractor at Lockheed Martin in 2015. Joseph then joined Nervve as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the design and implementation of software for their Visual Search Solution. Joseph currently holds the position of IEEE Region 1 Western Area Chair since 2020. Additionally, Joseph has played various leadership roles at IEEE, including serving as the Chair of the Buffalo Section and the Vice Chair of the Buffalo Section.

Joseph Ott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Joseph also pursued post-graduate courses in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at both the University at Buffalo and Northeastern University. Additionally, they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Signal Processing from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
