Roger Blumer

Roger Blumer is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as Principal Architect at VANTIQ since April 2017. Prior to this, Roger held the position of Principal Member Technical Staff at Oracle Corporation from February 2010 to April 2017, where significant contributions included the implementation of an engine for the APM product and enhancements to testing frameworks. Roger's career began at Ashton Tate in 1988, with notable roles at ASK (Ingres), Forte Software, Sun Microsystems, and AmberPoint, Inc., where key achievements included adding SQL92 capabilities to a relational database and implementing policy management systems. Roger holds both an MS and BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
