Awa Jallow

Awa Jallow has extensive experience in nursing and clinical research, having served as a Research Nurse at the Medical Research Council Unit in The Gambia, where responsibilities included managing clinical trials in COVID-19 research and achieving a 95% patient retention rate. Following this role, Awa worked as a Clinical Nurse, providing direct patient care, and later as a Clinical Research Nurse in hepatology research, contributing to improved patient outcomes and increasing patient enrollment by 20%. Currently, Awa holds positions as the Country Manager for the Peritoneal Dialysis Program at both Baxter International Inc. and Vantive, focusing on hands-on training, customer education, and clinical support. Awa's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of the Gambia.
