Dan Bloomberg

Dan Bloomberg is an experienced engineering leader in the medical device industry, currently serving as Associate R&D Director for Acute Systems, Controls, and V&V at Vantive since September 2025. Previously, Dan held the role of Director of Engineering at Mozarc Medical, where accountability for systems verification and validation involved ensuring product compliance with design inputs and stakeholder expectations. At Medtronic, Dan advanced through roles including Senior Systems Engineering Manager and Systems Engineering Manager, contributing expertise in cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize innovative medical device solutions while leading risk management initiatives. Dan's career began with roles as a systems engineering consultant and research intern, complemented by a robust educational background in Biomedical Engineering and Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Minnesota.
