Haiyan Xu

Haiyan Xu is the Director of PreClinical at Vantive, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as Principal Scientist at Baxter International Inc. and held the role of Senior Director and Project Manager at WuXi AppTec from 2009 to 2013. Haiyan was also a Study Director for Inhalation Toxicology studies at PMRL-B and began their career as a Scientist at Philip Morris Research Laboratories from 2003 to 2009. They earned their PhD in lung toxicology from KU Leuven and hold two Master of Medicine degrees from Zhejiang Medical University and Zhejiang University, completed between 1989 and 1997.
