Sarin Kumar Ph. D.

Sarin Kumar, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director and Global Leader for Extractables & Leachables and Materials Compliance at Vantive since October 2025, Sarin has previously held significant roles at STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited as Global Head of Engineering & Technology and Head of Engineering & Technology in the Optical Fiber Cable Business. Earlier positions include Technology Leader at Eaton and Lead Research Scientist at Honeywell, along with postdoctoral research fellowships at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the University of Geneva. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Calicut.
