Curtis Beavers

Curtis Beavers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for US Government Programs at Maxar Technologies since July 2016, Curtis is responsible for leading the capture phase and execution of various programs while assembling cross-functional engineering teams and managing technical solutions, schedules, and proposal costs. Additionally, since October 2018, Curtis has been an Industry Advisory Board Member for the Mechanical Engineering Department at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Previously, Curtis held roles at SSL (Space Systems Loral) from July 2006 to December 2016, starting as an Associate Mechanical Engineer and advancing to Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the design of satellite structures and antenna systems through all stages of development. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
