Sofie Raets currently serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team at the VAPH, a position held since 2018. Prior to this, Sofie worked as a wellness and health expert at Provincie Vlaams-Brabant from 2012 to 2017, and served in various roles including consultant at RTC Vlaams-Brabant and social service staff at Oostrem. Sofie's earlier experience includes working as a caretaker at Ganspoelinstituut from 1995 to 2007, and briefly at Virgo + in a school secretariat role. Sofie completed education at KIPSHO from 1992 to 1995.
