Georg Risdal is an experienced procurement and drilling professional with a career spanning over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Procurement Advisor at Vår Energi since February 2023, Georg oversees sourcing processes and contract negotiations for Drilling & Wells. Previously, Georg held the position of Senior Procurement Coordinator at Repsol, managing tenders and contract negotiations for Drilling and Completion services from May 2015 to February 2023. Alongside extensive procurement experience, Georg has a solid technical background as a Senior Drilling Engineer, contributing to the planning and execution of Infill wells in the Varg field while working for Talisman Energy and Repsol. Georg began the career at Baker Hughes INTEQ, progressing through various roles including Asset Manager, AutoTrak Coordinator, and Evaluation Coordinator.
