Michael Ball

Michael Ball has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and machine learning fields. In 2021, they began working as a Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer for Vara. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Oculid as an Engineering Lead and a Machine Learning Engineer. In 2018, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher for Ambit and a Software Engineer for Nextspace. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer for the Brown Space Engineering Student Group. In 2016, they worked as a Business Dev and Sales Intern for David Bozin, LP and a Technical Support Representative for Lotto New Zealand. In 2015, they worked as an Academic Consultant for Crimson Education.

Michael Ball completed their Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from Brown University between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended King's College in Auckland, New Zealand from 2010 to 2014. Michael also holds a Duke of Edinburgh Silver certificate from the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme, as well as a Trinity ATCL Diploma in Communications from Trinity College London.
