Aravind S

Aravind S currently serves as a Principal Engineer - Remote Sensing at Varaha, starting in November 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Cropin as Associate Director, Manager - Earth Observation, and Lead - Earth Observation from February 2019 to February 2024. Aravind also worked as an Assistant Research Associate at the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) from September 2018 to February 2019, and as a GIS Engineer at RMSI Pvt. Ltd. from September 2017 to August 2018. Earlier roles include serving as a Junior Research Fellow at SRM University from August 2016 to July 2017. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Information Technology from Tamilnadu Agricultural University, obtained in 2014, and a Master of Technology in Remote Sensing and GIS from SRM IST Chennai, completed in 2016.
