Casey Morrison, PhD, currently serves as a Drug Substance Discovery Scientist at Varda Space Industries since October 2025. Previously, from September 2021 to September 2025, Casey was a Chemistry Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where significant research included the development of novel polypeptide biomaterials and fabrication of biomimetic polymers. Teaching contributions spanned courses such as Biochemistry and Developmental Biology. Prior to UCLA, Casey held various roles at Pomona College, including Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Chemistry from UCLA, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Pomona College.
