John Dip is an experienced talent acquisition and growth professional with a diverse background in the technology and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as Principal Recruiter at Varda Space Industries since January 2025, John is focused on advancing commercial space infrastructure. Prior to this, John held roles at The General Partnership and its predecessor Sweat Equity Ventures, where significant contributions were made in scaling early-stage startups. John’s earlier experience includes executive search at Facebook and talent acquisition at Uber, as well as co-founding a staffing agency that addressed the talent needs of startups. John's career began in technical recruiting and fundraising shortly after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
