Mark Howell

Mark Howell is a seasoned engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in process and project engineering. Currently, Mark serves as Principal Engineer at Varec, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, a company specializing in tank gauging instrumentation and bulk liquid monitoring systems, since April 1999. Previous roles include Project and Process Engineer at Georgia Pacific Resins, Inc., where support was provided for two sites using Fisher-Rosemount RS3 DCS process control systems, and Process Engineer for DSM Resins, U.S., Inc., focusing on batch process characteristics and compliance with ISO9000 standards. Earlier experience includes engineering responsibilities at Sofix Corporation, where Mark was part of a team that launched a new production facility after training in Japan. Mark holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, awarded in 1991.
