Chuck Smith

Chuck Smith has a strong background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Chuck currently works as a Mechanical Engineer III at Varex Imaging Corporation, where they are responsible for writing work instructions, creating process flow diagrams, and providing expertise in drawings, SolidWorks CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes. Chuck also manages design history files, document templates, and prototype build records. Before that, Chuck worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Powerblanket, where they led the technical engineering for the PB-Core product line and designed and built manufacturing equipment and product testing stations. Prior to that, they were an R&D Mechanical Engineer II at MOXTEK, where they led a product design team, designed parts and tooling, built prototypes, and conducted testing. Chuck gained experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at CODE CORPORATION and Precision Assembly, where they conducted data collection, troubleshooting, quality control measures, and testing procedures.

Chuck Smith completed their Bachelor's of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 2008 to 2012.
