DJ has a diverse work experience in the field of Shopify engineering and front-end software development. DJ'smost recent position was as a Shopify Engineering Director at Varfaj, where they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Front End Software Engineer at Trellis from February 2022 to November 2022. DJ also had a role as a Team Lead at Speed Boostr from April 2019 to August 2022, where they successfully optimized and customized over 400 Shopify and Shopify Plus shops. DJ worked as a Shopify Developer at Eastside Co (Shopify Plus Agency) from October 2021 to February 2022 and as a Junior Front-End Developer at Veyl Ventures from February 2021 to October 2021.

DJ attended BloomTech from 2019 to 2020, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Moline High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition, DJ obtained a certification in Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing from Lambda School in August 2020.
