Daniel Barabander currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at Variant since April 2024, previously holding the position of Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from October 2021 to March 2024, with a focus on regulatory and technology transactions in the crypto and AI/ML sectors. Daniel's legal experience includes a summer associate role at Cravath in June 2020 and a judicial internship at the New Jersey Supreme Court under Justice Barry T. Albin in 2019. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where Daniel graduated magna cum laude and was part of the Order of the Coif. Additionally, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree as salutatorian from Colgate University, graduating summa cum laude.
