Ava McGarry

Ava McGarry began their work experience in 2016 as a Summer Camp Counselor and later became a Counselor at the Jewish Community Center. In 2019, they had a summer internship at Marblehead Water and Sewer Commission. In 2020, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Chirnside Lab and a Lab Research Assistant at Seyfferth Lab in the University of Delaware. From 2021 to 2022, Ava worked as a Laboratory Technician at Charles River Laboratories, where they performed DNA and RNA extractions and utilized a LIMS database system. Currently, Ava is employed as an NGS Laboratory Technologist at Variantyx starting in 2022.

Ava McGarry obtained their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Delaware from 2017 to 2021. In April 2022, they received a Certificate of Training from LGC.
