Jeffrey Haar

Jeffrey Haar serves as the General Counsel at Varicent since August 2020, although currently on leave. Previously, Jeffrey held senior legal positions at Brookfield Asset Management as Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary, and at Postmedia Network Inc. as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Additional experience includes roles as General Counsel at companies such as Architel Systems Corporation, Classwave Wireless, Inc., Sigma Systems, and AION - The Third Generation Blockchain Network. Jeffrey began a legal career as an Associate at Skadden Arps and Shearman and Sterling. Academically, Jeffrey earned an LL.B. from the University of Toronto and a degree in Commerce, focusing on Marketing and International Business, from McGill University.
