Todd Longwell

Todd Longwell is an experienced journalist and editor with a focus on legal and financial aspects of the entertainment industry. Since April 2011, Todd has served as Associate Editor for Legal & Finance at Variety, where responsibilities include writing features on industry trends and various technical crafts. Additional roles at Variety include contributions to the Content Studio and the Intelligence Platform, where Todd has produced and edited content for brand partners and created in-depth reports on industry-specific topics. Prior to this, Todd was a Managing Editor at Video Ink and played a pivotal role in launching StreamDaily, covering the streaming video sector. Early career experience includes a decade as a writer at The Hollywood Reporter, producing profiles and analyses across various aspects of the entertainment landscape. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Television Production from UCLA.
