Fatuma Ahmed

Fatuma Ahmed is an accomplished SOC Analyst at The Office of the Comptroller of Currency with extensive experience at VariQ since December 2016. Fatuma utilizes a variety of SIEM technologies and native tools, such as McAfee SIEM and Splunk, to monitor security events continuously. Additionally, Fatuma analyzes logs from diverse network devices and substantiates vulnerability scanner results through thorough evaluations. Prior to this role, Fatuma served as a Summer Events Associate at Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, contributing significant support to the planning of the Annual ART FOR LIFE fundraiser, which raised over $1.8 million. Fatuma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, following earlier studies at Virginia Wesleyan University and Wakefield High School.
