Osmo Knuuttila is a seasoned mechanical designer with extensive experience in the development of various engineering products. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanics Designer at Varjo since April 2018, Osmo specializes in mechanical design for virtual and mixed reality products. Prior to this role, Osmo worked at Noccela as a Mechanical Designer, focusing on the engineering of indoor locationing devices with 3D design expertise in Solid Works. At Microsoft, Osmo advanced from Mechanical Engineer to Project Manager for Mechanics, contributing to the design of mobile phone accessories from 2006 to 2015. Earlier experience includes a position as CAE engineer and Team Leader for tool design at Alphaform RPI Oy, where skills in injection mold design and CNC programming were developed.
