Bo Persson

Bo Persson is the Senior Vice President of CMC Development & Project Management at VarmX. Bo has over 20 years of experience in the biotech industry, working in both large and small companies.

Bo started their career as a Lead Engineer at Novo Nordisk A/S. Bo then moved to ZymoGenetics, Inc. where they held various positions including Director of Clinical Manufacturing and Associate Director of BioProcess Development. In 2006, Bo joined CMC Biologics as Senior Vice President of Project Management & Development. Bo was with CMC Biologics for 4 years before moving to their current position at VarmX.

At VarmX, Bo is responsible for the development and project management of all CMC activities. Bo has been instrumental in the growth of the company, and has helped VarmX become a leading player in the biotech industry.

Bo Persson has a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the field of biotechnology. Bo also has an M.Sc. from Københavns Universitet / University of Copenhagen in biology and physical education. Bo attended Sankt Annæ Gymnasium from 1966 to 1976.
