Paul Roos

Paul Roos has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. From January 2023 to the present, they have been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at VarmX. Prior to this, they worked at Polyganics BV as the CFO from January 2015 to January 2023. Polyganics specializes in designing, manufacturing, and marketing bioresorbable medical devices. Paul also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Quirem Medical from September 2015 to September 2020. Before that, from May 2013 to November 2014, they worked as the CFO at IRX Innovations. Paul also held the role of CFO at Synthon from April 2012 to March 2013, where they contributed to developing and manufacturing high-quality alternative medicines. Paul Roos started their career as an Executive Director in Corporate Finance at Kempen & Co in July 2002 and remained there until April 2012.

Paul Roos began their education journey in 1996 at the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued a MSc degree in Econometrics and Economics. Paul attended this institution until 2001. In 1999, they participated in an exchange program at New York University, focusing on business, economics, and film for a year. Additionally, during the same year, they also embarked on an exchange program at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they studied business/managerial economics and Spanish. In 2016, Paul enrolled in the Emerging CFO program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
