Marco Plaetzer

Marco Plaetzer is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in managerial roles across the DACH region. Currently serving as Country Manager for both DACH and Germany at Varnish Software since February 2021, Marco oversees the implementation of advanced caching technology for prominent content providers. Previous positions include Senior Sales Executive at Cloudator, where responsibilities involved sales and marketing for a cloud-based payroll solution, and Regional Sales Manager for Central Europe at Condeco, where Marco established operations in the DACH and Eastern European regions. Additional experience spans roles at Vidyo, Deutsche Telekom, Teldat GmbH, Polycom, and Avaya, demonstrating expertise in enterprise sales and account management. Marco holds a Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree from Technische Universität Darmstadt and has also studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
