Thomas Bäckström

Thomas Bäckström has extensive work experience in sales and management roles. Thomas is currently the Head of Sales Transformation at Varnish Software since 2024. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board at Powrs starting from 2022. From 2020 to 2024, Thomas was the Senior Director and Head of Sales at GlobalConnect. Before that, they worked as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Taxi Stockholm from 2018 to 2020. Thomas also had roles as the Sales Manager at Stadsnätsbolaget in 2018, Sales Manager at Telia Company in 2017-2018, and Sales Manager at Telenor from 2011 to 2017. Thomas started their career in sales at Crystone AB in 2008 and Getupdated Internet Marketing in 2007. Thomas worked at Eastpoint AB as a Group Sales Manager and Project Manager from 1999 to 2006.

From 2014 to 2015, Thomas Bäckström participated in the Telenor core Leadership program.
