Aaron Koning

Aaron Koning is an experienced professional in sales engineering and product management, currently serving as an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Varonis since May 2018, where responsibilities include understanding customer requirements and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations. Prior to Varonis, Aaron held various roles at Safe Software from October 2007 to November 2017, including FME Desktop and FME Server Product Manager, focusing on product strategy development, enhancing product processes, and expanding the customer base through presentations and training. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at the University of Northern British Columbia, where a web mapping framework was developed, and a role as a GIS Technician at the Ministry of Forests and Range. Aaron holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Northern British Columbia, completing the degree in 2006.
