Amir Belgi is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Group Leader at Varonis since November 2020, Amir leads the development of a high-scale SaaS analytics application focused on threat detection and data protection. Prior to Varonis, Amir was the Backend Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer at Curv, where critical features for a cloud-native SaaS application were developed. From October 2013 to November 2019, Amir held various roles, including Software Engineer Team Lead at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, overseeing rapid project development and technological innovation. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science with distinction from The Open University of Israel and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
