Anton Shapiro

Anton Shapiro is an experienced BI professional currently serving as the BI Team Lead and BI Engineer at Varonis since January 2018, specializing in the Microsoft Azure suite, TFS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI. Prior to this role, Anton worked at Egged Israel Transport Cooperative Society Ltd as a BI Developer, focusing on ETL process development using Informatica and creating business reports with Power BI. Anton's career in the Israel Defense Forces includes roles as a BI Developer, where skills in ETL processes, SQL queries, and report development were honed, as well as experience as an IT Project Manager managing PMO functions. Anton holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
