Assaf Azulay

Assaf Azulay is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership within the cybersecurity and software development sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Head of R&D at Varonis since September 2024, Assaf previously held significant roles at SentinelOne, including Senior Vice President of Engineering and Site General Manager in Israel, where the focus was on building international engineering organizations and enhancing product quality. Assaf’s prior experience at Intel Corporation involved managing large software and firmware teams and implementing Agile methodologies, while earlier positions at Texas Instruments included leadership roles in wireless LAN solutions and development integration. Assaf holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
