Ben Lavi

Ben Lavi is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Forensics Team Leader at Varonis since September 2016, where leadership is provided to the Israeli team within the global forensics department, focusing on Tier 2 DFIR services. Prior to this role, Ben worked as a Security Analyst on the forensics team for the UBA product, conducting investigations of security threat alerts and collaborating with research and development teams. Ben's earlier experience includes serving as a Computer Security Specialist in the Israel Defense Forces from December 2011 to June 2016, managing security systems for the Israeli Navy and specializing in host forensics with tools such as Wireshark and Volatility. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, completed between 2013 and 2020, and has foundational education from Gimnasia Realit from 2008 to 2011.
