Mark Vaitzman

Mark Vaitzman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Security Research Team Leader at Varonis, where responsibilities include guiding research projects and analyzing emerging cyber threats to enhance core data security products. Vaitzman concurrently shares expertise as a Cyber Security Lecturer at SeeSecurity in Python, Networking, and Linux. Previously, Vaitzman led the Security and Threat Research Team at Deep Instinct, managing threat analysis and content creation. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Cyber Security Expert at CyberProof and as Managed Defense Services Team Leader at Nyotron. An earlier role involved supervision of a large team at IEC - Israel Electric Corporation. Vaitzman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management from The Open University of Israel and has been actively involved in the Google Android Academy as a community member.
