Matt Lock

Matt Lock has extensive experience in the information security and technology sector, currently serving as Field CTO for Varonis in the EMEA region since October 2013. Throughout the career, Matt held various roles at Varonis, including Director of Sales Engineers and SE Manager for the UK, and served as a Senior Systems Engineer. Previous positions include Senior Pre-Sales Consultant at Lumension and Senior Technical Account Manager at Websense. With a strong foundation in security and risk assessment, Matt worked as a Risk Consultant at BP plc and contributed to the security strategy at third-i / JPMorgan as Lead Intelligence Officer. Matt's background also includes significant contributions as a Senior Security Consultant at Nebulas Security Ltd and as Principal Consultant at Your Communications. Matt holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from Middlesex University.
