Michael Sweeney

Michael Sweeney is currently serving as a Professional Services Engineer at Varonis since April 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at AXIS Capital, including Data Protection Lead and Data Protection Analyst, from March 2020 to March 2024. At Chubb from July 2018 to February 2020, Michael was a Senior IT Vendor Analyst, managing vendor relations across Chubb Overseas General. Michael's earlier experience includes serving in the United States Marine Corps from 2014 to April 2018, where responsibilities included Communications Chief and Radio Chief, advising on communications assets and developing command and control architectures. Michael is pursuing a degree in Information Technology at Western Governors University and has completed a degree in Information Systems with a focus on Cyber Security from Walden University.
