Nir Sharon has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles at Varonis since April 2009, currently serving as the Director of Global Escalation Engineering, where responsibilities include managing the Global Varonis Escalation Engineering team and providing engineering solutions to complex technical issues. Previous roles at Varonis include Head of Global Escalation Engineering, Escalation Engineering Manager for the Americas, Engineering Escalations Team Leader, Software Engineer, and Senior Support Engineer, tackling diverse tasks from C++/C# development to managing engineering teams and enhancing customer satisfaction. Prior to Varonis, Nir Sharon was a Test/Dev Ops Group Leader at Mamram in the Israeli Defence Force, overseeing projects in testing and development. Nir Sharon holds a BSc in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, and has education from Tel Aviv University and The Hebrew Reali School.
