Tomer Weisberg

Tomer Weisberg serves as the Director of Engineering at Varonis since September 2024. Previously, Tomer held the position of VP of Engineering at Pinecone, where leadership of the database engineering team focused on developing the Pinecone Database for AI applications. Prior to that role, Tomer worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, leading the ElastiCache data-plane development team. Tomer's extensive experience at Microsoft spanned nearly 18 years, where various roles included managing teams for SQL Security, cloud ETL solutions, and software engineering for SQL Server and Windows products. Tomer started a venture as the founder of Everad Inc, which aimed to create a music subscription service. Tomer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Haifa.
