Nils Flagmeier

Nils Flagmeier is an experienced engineering professional specializing in testing, validation, and development of battery systems. As Team Lead Testing & Validation at VARTA AG since July 2021, Nils oversees a team of test engineers focused on the validation and certification of battery cells and packs for various applications. Prior to this role, Nils served as a Development Engineer at AVL from October 2017 to June 2021, developing high voltage battery systems for international clients and conducting prototype testing. Nils also worked at BFFT GmbH as Project Coordinator and Test Engineer for high voltage batteries, overseeing test specifications and coordination between customers and internal teams. Nils began the career as an Electrician at Dr. Oetker in 2010. Nils holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Renewable Energies from the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld, obtained in 2015.
