Tugce Ates

Tugce Ates is a Development Engineer at VARTA AG since August 2023, with a robust background in the development and investigation of all-solid-state lithium batteries. Prior to this role, Tugce Ates served as a Postdoctoral Scientist and Doctoral Student at the Helmholtz Institute Ulm from January 2017 to July 2022. The academic journey includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (2018-2021) and a Master of Science in Chemistry and Management from Ulm University (2015-2017). Additional experience includes an internship in Risk Reduction Management at HARTMANN GROUP and a research internship at the Università degli Studi di Bari, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of metal and metal oxide nanostructures.
