David Mann

David Mann's work experience begins in 2002 at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as an Associate Director for 10 years. At Infinity, they contributed effectively in multiple departments and eventually became the global sourcing manager for the phytochemical cyclopamine.

In 2013, David joined Cellular Dynamics International as a Product Manager for iPSC-Derived Tissues. David was later promoted to Global Business Director for Drug Discovery and Bioengineering, where they established revenue-generating and collaborative research projects with industry researchers. Finally, they served as the Senior Director of Business Acquisition, managing sales teams and establishing strategies to drive key account and partnership strategy.

In 2018, David founded MTB Consultants Worldwide LLC to leverage their diverse experience in drug discovery and stem cell sciences. At MTB, they worked with small and mid-sized companies to define strategic directions in science and business.

In 2021, David briefly worked at Private Health Management as the COVID-19 Advisory and Research Lead.

Currently, David is the Chief Executive Officer of Vascugen, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of General Manager at Vascugen from 2018 to 2023.

David Mann completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry and Cellular & Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan from 1987 to 1991. David then went on to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1994 to 2000.
