Haider Aziz

Haider Aziz has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Haider currently holds the position of Managing Director, Middle East and Africa at VAST Data since September 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Director Storage Sales Specialty, OEM Solutions at Dell Technologies.

At Dell EMC, Aziz held multiple roles starting from 2012. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Senior Manager, Pre-Sales, Modern Data Centre Channel, EMEA. In this role, they managed a team of 20+ sales engineers and was responsible for the channel and business development for Dell EMC's Data Center solutions within the EMEA region.

From 2016 to 2019, Aziz held the position of Modern Data Center (Pre-Sales) Manager META. Haider led a team of 20+ technical Pre-Sales resources across 60+ culturally diverse countries and achieved consistent year-on-year growth. Haider also acted as the XtremIO Team Leader META from 2014 to 2016, where they built and managed a specialist product team across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region.

Before joining Dell EMC, Aziz worked at Citrix as the Virtualization Lead Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) from 2010 to 2012. Haider was responsible for technical implementations of Citrix XenDesktop solutions and collaborated with the business development team to establish opportunities for Citrix XenServer solutions.

Earlier in their career, Aziz worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Technical Consultant from 2007 to 2010. Haider was involved in various projects related to Microsoft solutions and VMWare virtualization. Haider also served as a Virtualization consultant and Team leader, managing data center virtualization and transformation for the British Government.

Haider Aziz completed a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Science BSc from 1991 to 1994.
