James Mulvenna

James Mulvenna is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in driving sales strategies and growth in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Sales Strategy at VAST Data since March 2021, James has played a pivotal role in expanding VAST's presence in EMEA and leading high-performing sales teams across the region. Prior to this, James held several key positions at Pure Storage from March 2015 to March 2021, including EMEA Sales Director for Unstructured Data Solutions and Regional Sales Manager, where significant revenue growth and successful team engagement were achieved. James also has a solid foundation in sales management from previous roles at EMC and Computacenter, where responsibilities included managing teams and high-stakes accounts. James holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor’s degree from Loughborough University.
