Leon Clayton

Leon Clayton is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in advanced analytics, sales engineering, and solution architecture. Currently serving as Field CTO of Advanced Analytics at VAST Data since June 2019, Leon previously held various roles at MapR Technologies, where Leon has been a Principal Sales Engineer since August 2013, contributing to the advancement of enterprise-grade Hadoop solutions. Leon's background includes engineering positions at EMC, NetApp, and Philips Semiconductors, where Leon supported corporate networks and managed complex system implementations. Leon began a distinguished career in the Royal Navy, where responsibilities included managing real-time command and control systems across multiple ships. Leon's educational qualifications include an Engineer's Degree in Real Time Combat Systems and an HND in Engineering and Computers.
