Phil Lewis

Phil Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Phil has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Phil's most recent position is with VAST Data, where they serve as the Director HPE Alliance for International Markets. Before joining VAST Data, Phil owned and invested in The Triangle Inn, Rhayader, a 16th Century Drovers Inn located in mid-Wales. Phil saved the pub from closing and currently employs the original owner as the pub Manager. Phil also worked for Veeam Software as the EMEA HPE Alliance Manager, leading a virtual Alliance team across EMEA. During their tenure at Veeam Software, Phil has achieved solid double-digit growth with HPE and significant business growth in the Enterprise space. Prior to Veeam Software, Phil worked at Veritas Technologies LLC as the Senior Director and Head of Global Technical Account Directors. Phil has also served as the Director of EMEA Presales and Director of EMEA Storage Presales at different times in their career. Phil has held various management positions at HP UK, including UK Global Account Storage Presales Manager, UK Server Presales Manager, and Demonstration, POC, and Benchmark Lab Manager. Phil started their career as a Customer Services Specialist at EPG INSURANCE SYSTEMS LIMITED. In addition to their professional experience, Phil took a short career break to conduct research in early medieval history in Wales.

Phil Lewis attended Llandrindod Wells High School from 1975 to 1982, where they did not pursue a degree or field of study. Phil then went on to study Geography at the University of Plymouth from 1982 to 1985, earning a BSc degree.
